A passenger boat carrying 40 people has been rescued after it ran aground off the South Devon coast.
The vessel struck a submerged object near Man Sands, south of Brixham, at about 7:30pm on Wednesday 2 July, HM Coastguard said.
Its engine failed following the impact, prompting a multi-agency response involving the Torbay RNLI lifeboat and Brixham Coastguard Rescue Team.
The RNLI escorted the vessel to Brixham Harbour, where all passengers were able to disembark safely.
No injuries were reported.
A spokesperson for HM Coastguard told the BBC: “We sent Brixham Coastguard Rescue Team and tasked Torbay RNLI’s all-weather lifeboat after the passenger vessel ran aground. The boat was able to return to harbour under its own power, accompanied by the lifeboat.”
The Marine Accident Investigation Branch has not yet confirmed whether it will launch a formal inquiry.
