Public thanked for helping biker injured in A380 crash

The public have been thanked for helping a young biker seriously injured in a South Devon road accident

Police were called at around 8.45pm on Wednesday July 12, following reports of a collision having occurred on the northbound carriageway of the A380 between Ware Barton and Eagle Farm.

It involved a VW transporter van and a Suzuki motorcycle.

The motorcyclist, who is a man in his 20’s from the Mid-Devon area, was airlifted to Derriford Hospital with arm and leg injuries that are believed to be serious.

Police thanked the members of public at the scene who helped with first aid and their patience whilst the road was closed for several hours for a collision investigation.
