A new farmyard musical for children is one of two shows for youngsters coming to Torquay's Princess Theatre this summer.

Based on the book by Michael Morpurgo, Pigs Might Fly brings the farmyard to life with catchy songs, puppetry, and slapstick humour.

On stage at the Princess at 11am and 4pm on Saturday, June 10, and Sunday, June 11, Pigs Might Fly is about the joy of unlikely friendships.

This bold and energetic new musical follows the air-raising adventures of Pintsize, the youngest and most daring piglet on Mudpuddle Farm.

Pintsize loves nothing more than playing with his next-farm-neighbour and best friend Diana the sheep, but one day Pintsize wakes up to discover a tall fence built between their two farms.

Devastated by the loss of playtime with his best pal and the fact that pigs can't jump over fences, Pintsize resolves that he will figure out how to fly over it instead.

The stage is set for the greatest talent show ever as Hasbro Stars Live heads to Torquay's Princess Theatre for two performances - midday and 3.30pm - on Tuesday, August 22.

Ben and Holly will sing some of their favourite songs with help from the magical Nanny Plum.

The PJ Masks heroes, fresh from a new adventure, will show that they can be a hero too! And last but not least, there will be a very special performance from My Little Pony that will get every pony's hooves stomping.

Headline acts are the amazing Mr Potato Head and Mrs Potato Head, who are super excited to be hosting the show and who may also have a surprise or two in store.

Mr Monopoly will be making sure that everything is in order back stage and will also be sure to make an appearance in the stage show of the year!

Get ready for fun, laughter and lots of singing and dancing in the unique multi-character live stage show on its European Tour.
