More than 130 people enjoyed a pub quiz - and together raised over £4,000 for Rowcroft Hospice.
Simon Fisher and Chris Mitchell, directors of Absolute Sales and Lettings, hosted the charity event at the Riviera Hotel, Torquay, which included a live auction and raffle.
Simon said: "A huge thank you to all the local businesses who donated a prize, to those who bid on the auction, bought raffle tickets and to those who joined us for the quiz!
"All the money raised will have a huge impact on the lives of local people within our community – all the team at Absolute are very grateful for your support and are completely blown away by your generosity.
"And congratulations to the winning quiz team - Grab-It and Co!
"It was also a pleasure to hear from Alison Upton, of Rowcroft Hospice, and all were moved by her stories and message about the local charity. It was great to see so many people get together for the hospice. Most importantly, the evening raised an incredible sum of money – just over £4,000!"
The Absolute team are busy planning their next charity event, The Absolute Challenge 2023, to continue their fundraising support of Rowcroft Hospice.
