A Paignton holiday park group is celebrating over six decades of making 'magical holiday memories'.

Now in its third generation of the Jeavons family, Beverley Holidays' owners continue to provide guests with the same holiday magic as it did 65 years ago by constantly refining the guest experience.

The last few years have been no exception, with £2million invested in a fleet of stylish hot tub holiday lodges and caravans, coupled with a £300k seaside-inspired play park and mini golf course.

A further £500,000 has gone towards a new holiday home development, coupled with a £300,000 upgraded facility block for camping and touring guests, both of which are set to open this Easter.

Beverley Holidays’ director Claire Flower said: “We are incredibly proud to be marking such a major milestone in 2023, and as a family-run business we continue to thrive and re-invest in our accommodation and facilities so guests can staycation in true Beverley style.

“We very much look forward to celebrating our 65th year with a host of events and offers throughout the year, including a series of party nights for our owners, holiday guests and Beverley team, as well as a brand new anniversary Cinderella pantomime show and lots more surprises.”

Beverley Holidays was founded by Joseph Stanley Jeavons and his wife Marion in 1958 after they transformed 20 acres of farmland into their holiday park dream.

Born in Wolverhampton, ‘Stan’ crowned the site Beverley in homage to his beloved Wolverhampton Wanderers FC who’s then captain Billy Wright was married to a member of the ‘Beverley Sisters’.

Regarded as Britain’s first female pop group, the ‘Beverley Sisters’ became familiar faces at the Paignton-based holiday park where they regularly performed to its growing number of guests.

Fast forward more than half a century and while you won’t find the singing sisters treading its boards today, Beverley Holidays continues to wow guests seeking sunshine and sea air on the English Riviera.

The group of holiday parks in Waterside, Paignton, offers holiday homes for sale, as well as hot tub holiday caravans, sea view lodges, touring and camping, coupled with a wealth of revamped facilities.
