Torquay has struck Gold in the annual In Bloom awards.
Torquay has struck Gold in the annual In Bloom awards.
The national accolade came in the Small City and City category at the Britain in Bloom Awards organised by the Royal Horticultural Society.
SWISCo, who look after the Bay's parks and gardens for Torbay Council, said: "This national recognition celebrates the hard work of our amazing volunteers, schools, local businesses and our brilliant grounds maintenance teams at SWISCo whose support helped bring Torquay's green spaces to life.
"Thank you to everyone who helped Torquay bloom."
