A special fund-raising movie quiz night is being held at Torquay's Royal Lyceum Theatre
A special fund-raising movie quiz night is being held at Torquay's Royal Lyceum Theatre.
All proceeds from the event, being held on Saturday November 8 (from 7pm), will go directly towards the Abbey Road theatre's roof and kitchen development fund.
The theatre says: "Whether you're a film fanatic, a casual movie lover, or just in it for the laughs, this is your night to shine.
"Form a team of four to six movie buffs, bring your best quotes, your sharpest memories, and your competitive spirit—The Trivia Trophy is up for grabs, and glory awaits."
A buffet and light refreshments will kick-start the evening before people head into the auditorium for the main event—a high-energy trivia showdown set against the backdrop of favourite films. '"Every ticket sold helps build a better space for our community," says the theatre.
Teams of four and are welcome at £10 per person. "Limited spaces are available, so please book in advance to avoid disappointment, "says the Lyceum.
