A stretch of the A382 will be closed for nearly two weeks from 24 February.
The closure will affect Bovey Tracey Road, Newton Abbot, between Berry Knowles Farm and Exeter Road, from 24 February to 7 March. A section of Whitehill Road will also be closed.
The work, carried out by South West Water, is necessary to dig a trial hole on the existing water main in preparation for future diversion works.
