Bullers boost L to r Natalie Young, Rachel Warren and lifeboat committee member Anne who presented the Bullers with an RNLI “Thank You” certificate
Torbay Lifeboat fundraisers got off to a flying start to the year thanks to the revitalised Bullers Arms on the Quay in Brixham.
More than 40 people filled the pub for a coffee morning in aid of the Torbay Lifeboats. Manager Rachel Warren and Natalie Young were kept busy serving tea, coffee and biscuits whilst the fundraisers held a Raffle and sold home-made cakes.
At the end of the morning £317 was made which will contribute towards the annual cost of the two lifeboats which protect the waters of Torbay and beyond.
Fundraising Chairman Peter Thorp said: “This was a wonderful event and Rachel and Natalie worked tirelessly throughout the morning keeping us supplied with refreshments, our grateful thanks go out to them.
