Motorcyclist seriously injured after Paignton collision

A man has sustained serious injuries after his motorcycle collided with a vehicle in Paignton.

Police are investigating a two-vehicle road traffic collision in Paignton on Saturday 11 January are appealing for any witnesses to come forward.

Officers were called to reports of a collision involving a black Triumph TT 600 motorcycle and a white Volkswagen Transporter, on Totnes Road, Paignton, at the junction with Conway Road and Primley Park, at around 5.25pm.

The rider of the motorcycle, a man in his 20s, sustained serious injuries and remains in hospital. 

The driver of the other vehicle was not hurt.

The road was closed while the scene was investigated and was reopened at around 10pm.

Officers would like to thank the public for their patience whilst the road was closed and those that offered first aid at the scene.
