SWISCo have introduced a new and sustainable method for feeding birds at Kings Gardens.

As part of a national 'Feed Ducks' initiative, duck feeders have been introduced and are being seen as a healthy alternative for our ducks.

Bread is not ideal for ducks and contributes to silt accumulation and vermin attraction.

However, these feeders dispense a precise, measured amount of feed into your hand. And each feeder is constructed from recycled plastics, equivalent to 20,000 plastic bottles.

Payments are £1, contactless, and 10 per cent of the profits are donated to a local charity.

SWISCo are currently supporting Animals in Distress - Torbay & Westcountry, but you will have the opportunity to vote for your preferred local animal or bird charity in the future.
