Following an exciting summer of high-profile gigs, The Scribes will perform in the Bay for the first time on Friday at The Apple & Parrot, located on Torquay’s harbour side.
The Apple & Parrot is an independent music venue committed to bringing original and up-and-coming music to the town.
The event will also feature supporting acts, including rising DJ, MC, and producer Chiman 101, alongside local musician Lewis Jackson, whom the group connected with through their work with Torbay charity Sound Communities.
BBC Music Introducing described The Scribes' music as “bursting with colour and invention,” adding that the group is “set for big things.”
The performance kicks off at 9pm, and entry to The Apple & Parrot is free.
