Police appeal

A woman using a mobility scooter has died following a road accident in Dawlish.

Officers were called to reports of a collision involving a blue Peugeot and a mobility scooter on Exeter Road at around 11.55am on Wednesday November 13. Emergency services attended the scene.

A local woman in her 80s was taken to Derriford Hospital. Sadly she has since passed away as a result of injuries sustained in the collision. The driver of the car was not injured.

Police are appealing for any witnesses that have not already spoken to them, but who may have seen the collision, or have dash camera footage, to contact police via their website or by calling 101, quoting reference number 50240287671.
