Pumpkin creatives rise to chippie's challenge

Community spirit—or should it be spirits—was alive and well in Chelston for Halloween.
 
Greenies fish and chip owners David and Sharron Green decided to decorate their Sherwell Valley chippie in suitable attire for the spooky celebrations.

They also organised a pumpkin carving competition for the local community, and there was a good response.
 
The Greenies owners said: "The streets of Chelston came to life, and spooky scenes erupted along the valley with the sounds and sights of Halloween."
