Marco Floreale, Elizabeth Larner, and Craig Smith bring a wealth of experience and specialist expertise to their respective areas of law for the company which has offices in Torquay, Barnstaple and Exeter.

Elizabeth specialises in clinical negligence and personal injury claims, with over 20 years of experience in the field.

She manages high-value and complex claims for clients nationally and locally, while maintaining a reputation for providing friendly, personal service to all.

She said: “11 years ago I joined Wollens (or Wollen Michelmore, as they were then), and over that time. Wollens has evolved, and so have I. I am so excited to be part of the future of this firm.”

Marco leads the firm’s Sports Law Division, which has developed partnerships with leading athletes and established legal collaborations with several high-profile professional and amateur sporting clubs and organisations in the South West.

He said: “I am absolutely delighted to be promoted to partner and continue the outstanding work we are doing for all our clients, providing excellent service to every team, every time.”

Craig, a Dispute Resolution lawyer, focuses on contentious probate and trusts litigation. He is a member of the Association of Contentious Trust and Probate Specialists and is one of only a handful of lawyers in the South West to hold this accreditation.

He said: “I am absolutely thrilled and honoured to have joined the partnership at Wollens and am excited to play a part in this ambitious, modern firm’s continuing upwards trajectory.”

Wollens chief executive Chris Hart added: “At Wollens, we believe in recognising talent and fostering professional growth. Marco, Elizabeth, and Craig have each demonstrated unwavering dedication to their clients and to the firm. Their promotions reflect not just their individual achievements but also our collective ambition to drive the firm forward as we continue to evolve in a competitive and ever-changing legal landscape.”

Five other members of Team Wollen have also been made Associate Solicitors.

Tom Calder has been promoted to Senior Associate within the Private Client team.

He specialises in complex estate administration, supporting clients across Devon and beyond with a range of private client matters.

Catherine Pinnegar is a specialist in high-value medical negligence claims, working with clients locally and nationwide. Catherine is committed to building strong, personable relationships with her clients, no matter where they are based.

Danielle Julyan and Steve Waters are integral members of the residential property conveyancing team. Both bring a practical approach to property transactions and work closely with estate agents and mortgage brokers to ensure the best outcomes for clients.

Victoria Harle is a valuable part of the Family team, focusing on complex care proceedings, including cases involving allegations of non-accidental injury and factitious illness.

Wollens Chief Executive Chris Hart said: “These promotions are well-deserved recognition of the hard work, dedication, and exceptional client care each of these lawyers brings to the firm. Their commitment to achieving the best outcomes for our clients is exemplary, and I am proud to see their efforts rewarded in this way.”
