Police has seized what they beleive to be an XL Bully after breaking up a fight in Torquay.
The incident occurred at lunchtime in the Abbey Road area. One man has been arrested but has since been released.
A spokesperson for Devon and Cornwall Police said: "Police attended the area of Rock Road and Abbey Road in Torquay at around 12.30pm on Saturday following reports of a fight.
"A man in his 20s was arrested in connection to the incident but has since been released with no further action being taken. A dog, suspected to be an XL Bully, was also at the scene and was seized by police whilst enquiries are carried out to confirm the breed."
