ESSW Charitable Trust raises money for children caught up in humanitarian crises or under threat of starvation throughout the world. The aim is to raise money to provide food, medical care, clean water and to help provide education for children ensuring the next generation has the tools to fight poverty and conquer disease.
‘We’re really pleased Doctor and the Medics have agreed to headline our charity concert again, they were such a hit at our previous events’ said Ian Coulton, Chair of Trustees for ESSW Charitable Trust. ‘Hybrid5 supporting and providing the entertainment for the after show party guarantees a great night!’
ESSW Charitable Trust have been running annual high-profile music and comedy events for several years, welcoming Mick Miller, Bobby Davro and Gary Delaney, and top bands from the 70’s and 80’s such as Bad Manners, The Sweet and Katrina and the Waves, and these events have raised over £25,000 for charity. The ESSW team are hopeful to add to this with a sell out at the Palace in November.
‘We hope to raise as much as possible for children caught up in humanitarian crises across the world, we are focusing on the famine in Somalia this year, and our support is crucial’ added Ian. ‘We run events for everyone to enjoy and raise funds at the same time, every event makes a positive difference, so do grab your tickets and support a worthwhile cause too’.
