New position at Kitson Boyce

Leading Devon law firm Kitson Boyce has a new head of private client department.
The law firm says Rebecca Farley brings a fresh perspective to the role, with ambitions to build on the private client team’s reputation as a leading provider in legal guidance and client satisfaction in the South West market.
Kitson Boyce’s private client department is regionally recognised for its people-first approach which enables its dedicated staff to understand and solve complex legal challenges, empowering clients to achieve their goals and find peace of mind. The 23-strong team works with a wide variety of clients including entrepreneurs, landowners, high net worth individuals and trustees.
Rebecca joined the firm in 2014 and specialises in private client matters, dealing with wills, lasting power of attorney and probate work.
She is also part of the trust and tax team, dealing with management of trusts on behalf of trustees and the accompanying tax advice. Most recently, Rebecca was promoted to partner in January 2023.
She said: “This is a fantastic opportunity for me, and I want to work closely with the team to ensure we are taking care of our clients, solving problems together and promoting our expertise.
“As a result of the firm’s recent merger, the team has made fantastic progress, both in terms of building our impressive roster of clients and also enhancing our profile in the market, and I’m excited to be taking on this important role to continue that positive growth.”
Rhodri Davey, who is managing partner at Kitson Boyce, welcomed the appointment and said: “Rebecca is held in high regard right across the professional community and is the perfect person to lead the private client team as it embarks on its next chapter. Her drive and commitment will undoubtedly make a real success of the team and see it continue with its growth strategy across the South West.”
