Up and Running in Torbay

It has been a busy festive week for well-being club Up and Running.
Christmas activities continued with the club's biannual food collection for Path Torbay - the local charity that supports individuals and families at risk of homelessness, vulnerable or in crisis. They also offer support to individuals and families in food poverty across Torbay and those who actually find themselves homeless.
The club's annual Christmas Treasure Hunt was a wet affair but it coincided with their food collection and biggest donation to date.
Some members also braved the weather to compete in various races.
Sally Busko, Simon Collings, Nikki Collings and Julie Jones entered the Extremely Jolly 10k, organised by Jolly Running, which was a really fun muddy 10k around Escot Estate in East Devon.
Gemma Radcliffe, Charlotte Allen, Emma Wiles, Ferne Raybould and Becci Dawe tackled a very hard 15 miles part of the Cornish coastpath in the Fairytale of Newquay organised by Purple Gecko.
