A biker has suffered serious injuries in a Torquay crash.

Police were called at around 6.10pm on Wednesday December 13 to Rathmore Road at the junction with Falkland Road.

A collision had been reported involving a car and a motorcycle. The bike rider, a man in his 20s, sustained serious but not life-threatening injuries and was taken to hospital.

Officers from Torquay response and Roads Policing along with South-West Ambulance attended the scene. Police thanked the public for their patience while the road was closed for their investigation to be carried out.

Police are appealing for anyone with dashcam or who witnessed the collision to contact us via 101 or through our website quoting log 676 of the 13 December.
