Police appeal
Detectives are investigating the circumstances that led to a man collapsing in Torquay and who is now in hospital where his condition is 'life threatening'.
Officers were called after the man was found collapsed in Torwood Gardens at approximately 11.45pm, on Monday November 27.
Ambulance attended the scene and took him to hospital, where his condition has been described as life threatening.
Detective Inspector Nicky Baker said: “We are particularly seeking any witnesses who saw anyone in Torwood Gardens between 9pm and 11.45pm on Monday November 27.
“Equally, if anyone has any footage relating to people in the gardens and has not made police aware, including any dashcam footage, please get in touch.”
A 26-year-old woman and a 38-year-old man, both from Torquay, have been arrested on suspicion of causing grievous bodily harm with intent. They remain in police custody.
