Love Island stars Jess and Dom were among the VIPs at GloWild
Paignton Zoo's GloWild winter light extravaganza
Reality TV star Jessica Rose has paid a glowing tribute to one of the Bay's newest, eye-catching Christmas attractions.
Jessica, of Love Island fame, was one of the first to try out Paignton Zoo's GloWild winter light extravaganza.
And her verdict: “It was ‘the cutest evening.”
The neon delight of immersive installations, light tunnels and illuminated animals is the zoo’s biggest ever event, and will give visitors the chance to see the zoo like never before. Alongside the magical illuminations, which take you on a journey around the zoo, there will also be performers, live music, an array of exciting food options and an under-the-sea themed silent disco.
Katie White, Paignton Zoo Events Manager, said: “After so many months of preparation, it is so exciting to be able to share this amazing experience and see how much our visitors are enjoying GloWild.”
Cornish content creator, Ashleigh George, said on her Instagram account: “What an incredible evening! There was so much to see and do and the lights were beautiful. We all wrapped up warm and enjoyed immersing ourselves in everything on offer.”
GloWild runs until Tuesday January 2 and tickets are available to buy online now.
The zoo has also announced that they will be running a photo competition for visitors. Followers who use the #PZGloWild and tag @PaigntonZoo in their posts with the giant chameleon light installation will be entered into a prize draw with a chance to win an animal experience.
Businesses will also be able to treat their staff to an amazing and unique Christmas party at GloWild, with Paignton’s special corporate party packages. These include welcome drinks, a festive buffet, use of a private function room and free parking, as well as the stunning GloWild spectacle.
Jessica Rose shot to fame when she appeared on the third series of the ITV2 dating show in 2017.
She built up a mass following on social media, with over a million fans on Instagram.
During her time in the villa Jessica met her now husband Dom Lever, 30, and the pair hit it off straight away.
