Brixham ready for Christmas
Brixham is gearing up to raise the curtain on Christmas.
It's all systems and a glittering go for the port's dazzling weekend of Lanterns, Lights, & 'luminations 2023.
The annual event is set to once again illuminate the town with festive charm and joy on Friday November 24 and Saturday November 25. Over 50 seasonal stalls will be spread across The Quay, Strand, and Middle Street over the weekend.
Friday on The Quay includes Lewis Jackson starting at 3pm and then other live entertainment right up to 6.30pm and the big lights switch-on with Father Christmas. In Middle Street on Friday at 3.40pm will be Oceanside Records followed by Sammy Shepherd at 5pm.
Saturday offers the street market from 10am to 7pm and the indoor market in Scala Hall from 12noon to 4pm. Entertainment includes stilt walkers and Christmas Crackers with the spectacular Lantern Parade with Father Christmas at 5.55pm and firework display at 6.30pm.
