WBW Make a Will
Where there’s a will there’s a way for WBW solicitors.
That could have been their slogan as they raised more than £6,000 for Rowcroft Hospice's Make a Will Week 2023.
A spokesman for the law firm said: “We at WBW Solicitors are proud to announce our continued support for Rowcroft Hospice. This year, we've successfully raised an impressive sum of £6,025 for the charity, a testament to the generosity and dedication of our clients and staff.
“Since our partnership with Rowcroft Hospice's Make a Will Week began, we have raised a total of £77,571.50. We are humbled by the ongoing support from our clients and the community, and we remain committed to contributing to this noble cause.”
They added: “Rowcroft Hospice plays an invaluable role in our community, providing compassionate care and support for patients and their families during their most challenging times. A significant 75 per cent of Rowcroft’s care is made possible through donations and gifts in Wills. These contributions fund essential services such as support in patients’ homes, the community, and at the hospice’s Inpatient Unit in Torquay.”
Catherine Causey, Head of Private Client at WBW Solicitors, said: "I am immensely proud of our team for their dedication and commitment to making a difference. Supporting Rowcroft Hospice is close to our hearts, and we are thrilled to be able to contribute to such a worthy cause. It's moments like these that truly underscore the power of community and collaboration."
WBW say the importance of making a will cannot be overstated - it provides clarity and peace of mind, ensuring that your wishes are honoured and your loved ones are cared for.
WBW added: “Additionally, leaving a gift in your will is a profound way to support causes close to your heart, such as Rowcroft Hospice. This gesture can make a lasting difference, ensuring that Rowcroft’s care and support continue for future generations.”
Rowcroft Hospice expressed their gratitude for the funds raised, which will go a long way in ensuring that they can continue to offer top-notch care to their patients.
The hospice relies heavily on donations from the community and corporate partners like WBW Solicitors to continue their crucial work. Further information is available at inmemory@rowcrofthospice.org.uk or by calling 01803 217405.
