Brixham progress in FA Vase

Brixham AFC are on the Isuzu FA Vase march again after Kieran Parkin’s early goal gave last season’s quarter-finalists a 1-0 Second Round win at Cowes Sports, writes Dave Thomas.
The victory has earned the Fishermen a home draw in Round Three, when they will be up against Wiltshire side Downton
FC from the Wessex League First Division (December 2).
Parkin struck in the 17th minute at Cowes from Charlie Johansen’s cross and, although Sports hit the bar just after the interval, Brixham produced a disciplined display to hold on against WL Premier opposition.
