Roselands Fireworks
Roselands celebrates in style
Roselands Primary School's fireworks night was a sell-out night to remember and thoroughly enjoyed by those who attended the event.
The inaugural event, which was held on Friday, November 3, was a spectacular event that captured the hearts of the local community. Organised by the Roselands Primary School Parent Staff Association (PSA) and co-ordinated by school administrator Lou Chapman, the evening brought together families and friends for a night of excitement, unity and some stunning, awe-inspiring fireworks.
The response from the local community exceeded all expectations, with an astounding 2,400 tickets sold, the organisers reported.
The success of this event would not have been possible without the generous support of local businesses.
The school has said a special thank-you to the event's sponsors, including Paul's Plaice, Trimseal, Pavey Group, Rainbow Skips, Stephenson Marine, Nikki Devon Wedding Photographer, Bradleys Estate Agents, Taylors Estate Agents and the Paignton Lion's Club.
A spokesman for the fireworks event said: "Their contributions helped make this event a reality and were vital in creating an unforgettable experience for all attendees."
The highlight of the evening was the fireworks display, provided by the Pro Pyro fireworks team.
The event was further enhanced by a live broadcast from Palm Torbay, including a countdown to the start of the display.
Attendees had the opportunity to enjoy an array of food and beverages. Vendors such as Ton's Treats, Booze Bros Co, MJR Catering, The Funky Anchovy, and Mr. T BBQ Man served up delicious treats, while Merlin Cadogan, the fire juggler, and Drum Devon provided extra entertainment, captivating the crowd with their mesmerizing performances.
Members of the Roselands Primary School PSA have expressed their gratitude to the local community and sponsors for their support and enthusiasm. Special thanks also went to school administrator Lou Chapman who did a fabulous job of co-ordinating the event alongside the PSA.
The funds raised will be used towards the construction of a new school veranda to be used at playtimes.
The spokesman said: "This year's Roselands Primary School Fireworks Night was a testament to the strength and unity of the local community, and plans are already in motion for an even more spectacular event next year."
