BRIXHAM AFC have earned themselves a good chance to remain on the Wembley trail – an Isuzu FA Vase Third Round home draw after their 1-0 win at Cowes Sports at the weekend.

The Fishermen, who reached the Quarter Finals last season, will take on Downton FC from Wiltshire at Wall Park on Saturday, December 2. Downton play in the Wessex League First Division, one level below Premier Division Cowes Sports. It was a 17th minute goal by Kieran Parkin, from a cross by Charlie Johansen, which beat Cowes. That result sets Brixham up for another big week.

They are at home to local rivals Buckland Athletic in the Les Phillips Cup on Tuesday evening and then try to improve their fourth place in the Toolstation Western League away to Saltash United on Saturday.
