Christmas is coming and Santa will be back in town this festive season in a stunning snowy winter wonderland at his Fleet Walk grotto in Torquay.
The elves have been hard at work creating the most beautiful display at the popular charity grotto and, once again, ticket prices have been frozen to ensure families can enjoy the festive magic.
President of the Rotary Club of Torbay Sunrise, Andy Uglow, said: “We are delighted to announce that the ticket price has been frozen again this year. This has been possible thanks to the support of our sponsor The Westerleigh Group who have funded the wonderful children’s gifts.”
This year, visitors will be invited to enter a magical winter wonderland filled with glitter and sparkle, along with animated characters, before meeting Father Christmas for a private chat. The elves have also selected some exciting toys which will be gift wrapped and ready for children who are listed on Santa’s “good list”. Once again, visitors will be able to take away a souvenir photo with Santa, included in the ticket price.
This popular event is hosted by the Rotary Clubs of Sunrise and Tormohun with volunteers from Torquay Ladies Circle. As usual, all proceeds from the event will go to Rotary charities including the Children’s Hospice South West. Last year, this popular attraction enabled Rotary to raise over £4,000 for local charities.
The grotto opens on Saturday, November 18 and will run every Saturday and Sunday until December 16, when it will open every day until Christmas Eve.
Tickets have now gone live and are available for purchase through EventBrite on a first-come, first-served basis. For more information, visit www.eventbrite.co.uk and search for Santa’s Grotto 2023. Keep updated with grotto news through our Facebook page @fleet walk santa’s grotto.
