The Paignton branch of the Royal British Legion and Paignton Parish Church are inviting people to attend Remembrance services

The Paignton branch of the Royal British Legion and Paignton Parish Church are inviting people to attend Remembrance services in the town as well as supporting the annual Poppy Appeal.
On Armistice Day on Saturday November 11, a short service will be held at the Paignton War Memorial from 10.45am with two-minutes silence at 11am and simple wreath service.
For Remembrance Sunday on November 12, a morning Church service will be held in Paignton Parish Church (10am for 10.15am) Any organisation or youth group wishing to participate in the service should contact Father Neil Knox via the email of RBL branch chairman Gerard Sarsfield -Paignton.Chairman@rbl.community.
An afternoon wreath service will take place in Palace Avenue Gardens and at the War Memorial starting at 3pm. This will take the form of a short service, including a two-minutes silence and wreath laying by local dignitaries and other organisations. Anybody intending to lay a wreath as part of this service should contact the branch chairman Gerard Sarsfield - paignton.chairman@rbl.community.
There will be parking Restrictions from 2pm and a road closure will be in place from 2.30pm until the end of the Service.

The RBL Branch Gazebo will be out in Victoria Street on Saturday November 4 from 9.30am to 4.30pm.
The branch Office in Church Street will be manned from Saturday October 28 to Friday November 10, Monday to Saturday between 09.30am until 4.30pm - with members out and about at some local supermarkets as well.
