Steve Waters and Katie Potter headed to Cascais for some late season triathlon racing

Steve Waters and Katie Potter headed to Cascais for some late season triathlon racing at IRONMAN Portugal and 70.3 The pair began their day in the Atlantic sea before taking on the bike course that included a blast around the famous F1 circuit and then a final coastal run to the finish. Steve successfully completed the full distance in a strong time of 11.58.03 while Katie raced her way to a time of 5.25.12 over the 70.3 distance.
Ryan Rudge also enjoyed some late season action as he headed to the Athens Riviera for IRONMAN 70.3 Greece. Set in the seaside town of Vouliagmeni, the race offered plenty of Greek treasures and history along its stunning course. Ryan put in a great performance to cross the line in 5.16.24
Paul Whitehead and Debbie Burman made it a club double as the latest round of Torbay Tri's running Grand Prix series took members to Clearbrook on the edge of Dartmoor for the Plym Trail 10k. Following an out and back course along a cycle route, Paul took the overall win in 40.11 and was followed home by Jerry Hocking 42.37 (3rd overall), Debbie Burman 42.44 (1st lady), Frank Reay 44.14, Peter Hayward 46.00, Laraine Gibbins 55.04 and Brenda Finney 64.22
Officially the world's flattest marathon, Ian Tyson headed to London for a blast around picturesque Battersea Park. Starting at the Millennium Arena, the marathon course followed 10 laps of the park, which Ian powered his way around in a super fast time of 2.42.29 and 3rd place overall.
Stephen Wilbraham headed along the coast to Dorset for the Weymouth 10, a mostly flat course but with a challenging double loop around Bowleaze. Steve finished the 10 mile run in 1.27.48.
