Torbay AAC were all about the half marathon distance
Katie Harvie was waving the red and yellow flag at Eden Half Marathon in a time of 2:01:40 and securing a solid personal best and stating that clearly joining the club was paying off. The fine, crisp autumnal morning was the perfect weather to run in the stunning setting of The Eden Project in Cornwall.
Manchester was the destination for Rachael Collins. She was proud to complete Manchester half marathon with a new personal best of 2:12.55 She thoroughly enjoyed herself along the way soaking up the atmosphere and the iconic Manchester vibe. Being an Oasis fan she was delighted with her medal. Glen Hawkins also completed the Manchester half marathon in 2:36:00
Last weekend Torbay AAC athlete Nick Robinson ran the Royal Parks Half. The route took him around central London, Buckingham Palace and Hyde Park. He crossed the line 1587 out of 15957 with a time of 1.41.43.
