Three Billy Goats Gruff

Paignton's Palace Theatre is one of the UK venues for Lost The Plot Theatrical's family-favourite children’s show

The interactive show is the perfect half-term treat for little ones and the big kids that bring them! It will run at the Palace Theatre on Thursday October 26 with the performance scheduled at 2pm
The October tour comes off the back of a London run during the summer as part of London’s first Children’s Theatre Festival at Coram’s Fields in the heart of the West End.
‘The Three Billy Goats Gruff’ premiered at the Palace in Paignton in February, 2018. Following several tours in 2019, 2020, 2022 and February this year, Lost The Plot Theatrical are thrilled to be taking the show on the road once again.
Lost The Plot Theatrical also visited the Palace earlier this year with their smash hit children’s musical ‘The Three Little Pigs’.
The show will feature the return of their London cast. Reprising their roles: Maddie Trueman as Baby Billy Goat; Emily Juler and Middle Billy Goat and Liz Chadwick as Big Billy Goat.
‘The Three Billy Goats Gruff’ is a new take on the traditional tale for children of today and is perfect for first-time theatre goers. Featuring catchy songs, funky dances to clap along to and a rapping Troll...the ensemble cast narrate the story throughout as Big, Middle and Baby Billy Goat. Each goat
takes turns playing the role of Terry the Troll in this brand-new children’s musical, with original book, music and lyrics by Richard Brindley and Edward Johnson and musical orchestrations and arrangements by Tom White.
Maureen McAllister, manager of the Palace, said: "I was absolutely delighted that Lost the Plot Theatrical launched their first tour of The Three Billy Goats Gruff with us - to have had such a new and vibrant company with a brand-new production coming to our theatre was perfect for our resident and visiting audiences. We saw lots of happy smiling faces trip, trap, trapping through our doors in February and I’m sure they will on future tours to come."
