The Paignton branch of the Royal British Legion has a new Chaplin

Members joined the congregation at Paignton Parish Church for their Sunday morning service. At the end of the service, before the final blessing, Paignton parish priest Father Neil Knox was inaugurated as the Chaplin.
Branch chairman Ged Sarsfield read out a short notice prepared by Major Ron Goodwin, branch president, who unfortunately could not attend.
The stole was blessed and formally presented by the chairman.
The RBL said a big thank you to the parishioners for their welcome and the refreshments at the end of the service and said the 'cake was lovely'.
