Fishermen flying up the table

Wall Park Brixham

Wall Park Brixham

Big win for Brixham

Brixham AFC have put a slow start to the season emphatically behind them, and the Fishermen are now up to sixth place after their promotion to the Toolstation Western League.
Gloucestershire’s Oldland Abbotonians were the latest visitors to fall at Wall Park, on the end of a 5-0 rout at the weekend.
Goals by man-of-the-match Scott Robinson, Kieran Parkin and Sean Adderley, who scored in first-half stoppage-time, had Brixham well in charge by the interval.
Substitutes Jaden Maslen and Charlie Johansen finished the job in the last 15 minutes to lift the side into the top half of the table.
Although a few of their rivals have a game in hand, Brixham can move further up the table if they continue their good form at home to bottom-half Shepton Mallet this Saturday.
