Police appeal
A man needed hospital treatment after being assaulted by a gang of youths in Torquay.
Police investigating the incident on Sunday September 10 are appealing for witnesses to come forward.
It was reported that the victim, a man in his 50s, was assaulted at around 7pm in Spa Beach Road, St Marychurch. He was treated in hospital for facial and head injuries.
If anyone witnessed the incident or have any information or footage that could help with enquiries, they are asked to contact police via their website or by calling 101 quoting reference number 50230246171.
