Precious point for United Ladies

A frantic finish saw Torquay United Women earn their first National League Division One point from a 3-3 draw at Maidenhead United.
Picking themselves up from a 7-1 defeat at Exeter City in midweek, United trailed again, but drew level at 2-2 after goals by Emily Eaton and a Rhi Bailey free-kick equaliser at York Road.
The Gulls thought they’d won it when Esme Kilburn Thompson scored (3-2) near the end, only for Maidenhead to make it 3-3 in the 93rd minute.
United are home (Coach Rd, Newton Abbot) today against Keynsham Town.
The Gulls’ Under-18 side came from behind to beat Swindon Supermarine 2-1 at home in their opening SW Counties Youth League match.
