Torbay RNLI fund-raisers
Royal Torbay Yacht Club held their annual regatta over three days on and Torbay Lifeboat fundraisers supported the event with a fund-raising gazebo
Various items - including Christmas cars - were sold at the stand which was ideally located by the Town Dock to attract sailors going on to and off the pontoons and passengers boarding or leaving the Brixham to Torquay ferries.
Despite the mixed weather the RNLI volunteers raised over £1,100 and thanked the yacht club and the harbour master's office.
The volunteers will be out again on Saturday September 9 between the Princess Theatre and Pier Point Restaurant with souvenirs on sale and their popular Cover the Flag. Another date for the diary is Thursday September 21 when the Hoopers Fashion Show takes place. Doors open at 6pm, with tickets at £10 each and available from Hoopers and Middle Street shop in Brixham with all proceeds.
