It's time for the old you-know-whats to fetch out their whites and dust off the pads at Barton Cricket Club

Barton are staging their annual Legends Day on Sunday when the Cricketfield Road first team take on some of Barton's names from the past.
Players going back more years than they care to recall will be trying to out do their B Division modern-day counterparts in what is always a fiercely-contested match.
The Legends, led by former skipper Jim Parker, will be out to retain the perpetual trophy they bagged last year against the first team captained by his son Adam!
The day, which also raises money for charity, is all abut the family.
A soft-ball game for the under-10s will kick off the day from 9am to 10.30am. Then it's time for the youngsters to get their own back on their dads, mums, uncles and aunties with a Parents versus Kids game from 11am to 1pm. The Legends clash starts at 1.30pm with a presentation in the Barton clubhouse at 8pm.
Refreshments including a bacon bap in the morning and burgers and pizzas during the day will be available and the bar will be open to members and signed-in guests.
There will also be a bouncy castle and face painting for the children and, who knows, Legends as well!
