First game for TUFC Ladies

Torquay United Women let an early lead slip as they lost 4-2 away to Portishead Ladies on their National League Division One SW bow.
Midfielder Tracey Cross scored both goals for the Gulls, who will hit the road again this weekend, to Portsmouth to take on Moneyfields Ladies on Sunday (2pm).
Buckland Athletic faced an FA Cup replay at Okehampton Argyle last night (Tues) after drawing 1-1 at Homers Heath on Saturday - a tie at home to Wiltshire's Highworth Town in the First Qualifying Round (Sep 2) was at stake.
Brixham AFC, who were without a game at the weekend, resume their new life in the Toolstation Western League with a trip to Shepton Mallet this Saturday.
Torquay United's Under-18 side, SW Counties Youth League and Cup champions last season, open their league campaign at home to Brimscombe & Thrupp at South Devon College (10.30am) on Saturday week, September 2.
