Closed: The entrance to Ilsham Marine Drive
A road has been closed in Torquay while the emergency services deal with an incident.
The Meadfoot entrance to Ilsham Marine Drive has been shut to traffic.
Police say they had been called after concern for the welfare of a person.
South Western Ambulance Service NHS Foundation Trust, added: “We were called at 9.23am to a medical emergency in the Torquay area. We sent two double-crewed land ambulances, an air ambulance, four units from our hazardous area response team and an operations officer to the scene.”
