The undulating tracks and trails of the ever-popular Totnes 10k drew 14 runners from South Devon Athletic Club for the latest event in their 2023 Grand Prix series.
Organised by Teignbridge Trotters, the route takes runners from Borough Park in Totnes out around the Dartington estate, including riverside tracks and woodland climbs.
Kevin Ashworth’s time of 50m 56s was the pick of the SDAC performances, good enough for 41st overall. Shaun Kirk was 74th in 53m 18s and Marc Walpot 80th in 53m 34s.
Dani Waters was 84th overall in 54m 02s, taking home the prize for third in her age group.
The club’s other finishers were: Steve Wright 63m 53s; James Nash 64m 35s; Neil Jordain 65m 27s; Cherry Powell 66m 50s; Laura Ashworth 69m 08s; Brian Marjoram 73m 45s; Mark Holman 74m 46s; Roger Webb 76m 19s; Heather Coverdale 80m 00s; Alison Ford 81m 48s.
