Torbay Tri-Club members gathered at the Killerton Duathlon and came away with a number of podium places for their efforts. Starting with a 5k off-road run around the National Trust's Killerton estate, the race then took to two wheels and raced out and back to Cullompton for 19k before a final 3k run to the finish and ice cream for all.
Wendy Urban topped the podium for her age group and was joined by Jessica Smith as third female and Jon Pressling third V40.

Speaking of ice cream and doing a lapped ultra named the "Ice Cream Challenge" would be enough to give anyone a headache but not Samara Taylor who successfully completed another lapped ultra distance run event in East Devon, covering an impressive distance of 36 miles in 6h 50m.
Dave Brown continued his fine running form this season, claiming a PB at the Yeovilton 5k Summer Series. Dave broke the 17 minute mark with a super fast time of 16.55
