Police appeal after home raid
Police are appealing for witnesses and information following reports of a burglary in Paignton.
Officers have launched an investigation after the reported raid at a property in Totnes Road near Collaton St Mary, which was reported to police at around 9pm on Tuesday July 4.
It was reported that entry was gained to the property and an untidy search was carried out.
Senior Investigating Officer, Detective Superintendent Jon Bancroft, said: “At present, we believe the suspect would have been travelling in the Collaton St Mary and Tweenaway areas between 4pm and 9pm, and we are hoping that someone may have information which can assist us.
“We have had detectives and other specialist search teams including forensic staff conducting house-to-house enquiries and searching locally all day, but we still require information to identify and detain those responsible.
“Additionally, I am very keen to hear from anyone who was travelling in the area around Totnes Road in the hours prior to the time the break-in was reported to us and may have seen anyone acting suspiciously.”
If you have any information that could help with enquiries, please contact police via their website or by calling 101 quoting 50230186785.
