Santa will tour Okehampton and several nearby communities this December as the Okehampton District Round Table confirms the return of its annual Christmas routes.
The group has released this year’s dates and locations, with Santa beginning his visits on Friday 5 December and continuing until Saturday 20 December.

The planned stops include Okehampton, Hatherleigh, North Tawton, Sticklepath, South Tawton and South Zeal.
According to the schedule, Santa will visit the following areas at 5.30pm on the dates listed:

Round Table chairman Chris Brown-Martin said the annual routes remain one of the organisation’s most recognised community events.
“A huge thank-you to all our volunteers. Your hard work and dedication make this event possible every year. We could not do it without you,”
he said.
The Round Table also thanked local businesses that have supported the group over the past year.

Brown-Martin said he is happy to speak with anyone who wants more information about the routes or the group’s work.
Donations collected during the Santa runs will go towards local charitable causes.
The Okehampton District Round Table wished residents “a joyful Christmas and a peaceful New Year.”
