A new British psychological crime thriller, All the Devils Are Here, is slated to arrive on digital platforms in the UK on 26 September, offering a stark, moody tale shot against the haunting terrain of Dartmoor.
Produced and distributed by Republic Pictures, the film is directed by Barnaby Roper and features a powerhouse cast including Eddie Marsan, Sam Claflin, Burn Gorman, Tienne Simon, Suki Waterhouse and Rory Kinnear.
The film tells the story of a quartet of criminals who, after executing a heist, hole up in a remote cottage on Dartmoor. As days pass in isolation, tension escalates, loyalties fracture, and paranoia takes over.

Critics have noted the film’s claustrophobic intensity, likening it to a chamber piece with undercurrents of psychological suspense. Eddie Marsan, playing the weary crew leader Ronnie, uses internal monologue to convey his character’s worldview, while Sam Claflin’s role as the wildcard adds volatility to the group dynamics.
All the Devils Are Here premiered at the Edinburgh International Film Festival in August 2025. After the festival debut, Republic Pictures unveiled new artwork and confirmed the UK digital release date of 26 September. The film will also have a limited theatrical and digital release in the US from the same date.
In the UK, the choice of a Dartmoor backdrop is especially poignant for local audiences. The film leans heavily into the isolation and changing moods of the moorland, making the location almost a character in its own right.
For readers in the South West and Devon, All the Devils Are Here offers more than just a thriller — it spotlights a dramatic, wild landscape familiar to many. The film may draw interest not just from crime drama fans, but also those curious about regional settings in cinema.
