It's Christmas! Brixham

Time for the festive season

Christmas has well and truly arrived in Brixham.
The port came alive at the weekend as thousands of people enjoyed a feast of festive fun.
Brixham Town Council, Tor Bay Harbour Authority, Torbay Council and local businesses worked with event organisers Diverse Events to make sure it was a weekend to remember.
And few will disagree that it most certainy was!

Treats included the Christmas lights switch-on, lantern parade and entertainment across two stages.
The event has grown to two days, covering not only The Quay, but also The Strand and Middle Street in the town.
And naturally, there were Christmas fireworks. All in all, it was a spectacular curtain raiser for the forthcoming festive season in Brixham - a compendium of events that went done well with everyone.
