That’s a wrap! Last night, the Torbay Weekly Business Awards 2024 illuminated the Riviera International Conference Centre, celebrating the remarkable achievements and entrepreneurial spirit of local businesses in the Bay.
With a dazzling array of talent on display, the event brought together industry leaders, innovators, and community stalwarts, highlighting the resilience and creativity that drive the area's economic growth.
From burgeoning startups to well-established enterprises, the evening was a testament to the dynamic business landscape of Torbay, and the naturally inspiring individuals that make it all happen.
About 350 people attended the night, hosted by David Fitzgerald and Torbay Weekly editor Jim Parker. The awards were generously sponsored by South Devon College, Wollens Solicitors, Office of Devon and Cornwall Police and Crime Commissioner, Torbay Business Forum, Inter-Line Building Supplies, English Riviera BID Company, Stagecoach SW, Princess Theatre Torquay, Sally Allen Business Consultant, Mark Wright Majestic Holidays and Torbay Council.
During the evening, guests were treated to a discussion between Mark Bowes-Cavanagh and Micheal Westcott of the Bryn Consortium on their hopes and plans for the future of Torquay United.
