The Torbay Triathlon, hosted by Sportiva Events, is held at Clennon Valley and the perfect way for anyone to start in the sport of triathlon, with a pool-based swim, followed by a Velopark ride on smooth, flat tarmac and a flat parkland run. The sprint distance consists of a 400m swim / 20k bike / 5k run.

Torbay Tri club members were out in force, with V40 Gary Burman back first in 59mins 37secs (13th) plus 3rd V40. It was a very impressive day also for V40 Shaun Ripley, finishing in 1hr 01mins 41secs (18th), then SM Ben Flower 1hr 02mins 38secs (23rd) and V45 Chris Martin 1hr 08mins 19secs (43rd).
