Volunteers are being urged to sign up for a landmark international paddleboarding event taking place in the English Riviera later this year.
Organisers of the 2026 ICF SUP World Cup and the accompanying Paddle UK SUPER Festival are calling for enthusiastic volunteers to help deliver what will be the first Stand Up Paddle World Cup event ever held in the UK.
A wide range of roles are available across the event, from helping with athlete registration and media operations to supporting spectators, ceremonies and the field of play.
No previous paddleboarding experience is required, and organisers say they will match volunteers with roles that suit their interests and availability.
The event is expected to attract top international athletes along with thousands of spectators, creating what organisers describe as a unique opportunity for local people to play a key role in delivering a major sporting occasion.
Volunteer roles include operational support, athlete information and registration, spectator services, officiating support, paddling activation activities and assisting with event infrastructure.
Those who sign up will also receive a number of benefits, including official volunteer clothing, food and drinks while on shift, pre-event training and an invitation to an exclusive volunteer celebration event.
Organisers say volunteers will also have the chance to watch some of the world’s best stand-up paddleboard athletes compete when they are off duty.
They added that volunteering offers an opportunity to learn new skills, meet like-minded people and contribute to a welcoming community atmosphere during the festival.
Anyone interested in volunteering this summer can register their interest through the event’s volunteer sign-up form.
