Visit South Devon launches new membership scheme for Golf Courses

We are blessed with some fabulous golf courses in our local region, and Visit South Devon has taken that privilege to a new level with the launch of a brand-new membership scheme.

This initiative will bring together South Devon’s outstanding golf venues under one umbrella, raising their profile to visitors from across the UK and overseas while strengthening South Devon’s reputation as a premier golf destination.

From dramatic coastal fairways overlooking the South Devon Coast to lush parkland courses set in rolling countryside, South Devon offers an unrivalled variety of golfing experiences. Golf plays an important role in the region’s visitor economy, attracting thousands of enthusiasts each year who not only enjoy the sport, but also stay in local accommodation, dine in restaurants, and explore the area’s towns, villages and attractions.

 The new membership scheme will give local golf clubs and courses the opportunity to:

• Be featured on Visit South Devon’s highly visited website and promotional channels.
• Access targeted marketing campaigns aimed at attracting golf visitors year-round.
• Benefit from collaborative opportunities with accommodation providers, activity companies, and hospitality businesses.
• Gain increased visibility at a regional, national, and international level.
